Fan Photo Contest Launched

Newport Polo Nation: send in your best pic from our polo matches, and cast your votes by LIKING your favorite entries in the new Fan Album on our Facebook fan page.  The winner will receive a Getaway package to Newport to enjoy the 1st annual Newport Daffodil Days Festival April 25-27!  Submit photo to agnes@nptpolo.com, < 1M; Limit one pic per entrant; no action photos or player photos please.  Enter & vote now thru noon on Fri 4/25.  Winner announced 4/25. Photos published in the annual Newport Polo season magazine.

The prize package includes accommodations at Pearls Boutique Hotels, a special Bike Tour of the Daffodils, with bike rental by Scooter World, live music & festival on Bannisters Wharf, a gift card to Pineapples on the Bay, tickets to the Bit Players Late Nite Show, and admission for the annual  ‘Neighborhoods of Newport House Tour’, plus lots more goings on in the City by the Sea!

Friday, April 25  Festivities begin on Bannister's Wharf! (See schedule of events in photo at right)

Saturday, April 26  Rent a bike from Scooter World to join Bike Newport for a 10-15 mile bicycle tour of the daffodils in bloom, and end up at the Newport Daffodil Festival at Bannister's Wharf for local food and live music. 

Plus tickets to the encore Late Night performance by the Bit Players, RI's most award winning comedy troupe as they hit the stage with their hilarious improv comedy show full of larger than life characters, hysterical musical numbers, and the quickest wit you'll ever see!

Sunday, April 27  Neighborhoods of Newport House Tour will benefit St. Michael’s Country Day School and the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center. Many of the houses on tour will feature beautiful beds of hundreds of daffodils, including the gardens of Ronald Lee Fleming’s Bellevue House and Susan Ruff’s Hillside, for a total of seven architecturally distinguished residences by luminaries of design such as McKim, Mead & White and Peabody & Stearns.  www.newporthousetour.com/2014-houses.
