The Box Office is suspended while we await Gov. Raimondo's decision on our proposed Safety & Social Distancing Plan.
Date: Wednesday, March 11, 2020
Newport Polo's Box Office underwent recent upgrades for an improved shopping experience for this season. Here's what to expect for the March 15th opening.
The Box Office will open to the public on Sunday, March 15th. Web traffic will be monitored to limit the number of visitors at a time to ensure optimum speed and avoid overload. If the maximum number of visitors to the website is reached, new visitors will be queued in a virtual waiting room. The waiting room will show your position in line and can save your place, and send you a notification when it is your turn to shop. Shoppers inside the site will be able to navigate through all of the events to add as many tickets as they wish to their ticket basket. Upon checkout, shoppers will be directed off the site, allowing the next customer to enter.
TIP: Do not checkout until you have added all the tickets you intend to buy to your Ticket Basket. Once checked out, you will be moved to the back of the queue to renter the site.
Normal On-Demand access to the site will resume on March 16.
Tailgates and Chalets on the following dates have sold out during Priority Access: June 20, USA vs. Argentina | July 11, USA vs. Italy | July 25, USA vs. Ireland | Aug. 22, USA vs. Jamaica | Sept. 5, USA vs. England
Since Tailgates & Chalets are located along the front perimeter of the polo field, they are a limited option and in high demand, and therefore scarce in comparison to the number of attendees. Please consider signing up to the Tailgate and Chalet Wait List to receive an email notification if an opening becomes available for a specific date. More than one-third of the venue remains dedicated to Lawn Seating on a first-come-first-serve basis, requiring only Adult Admission, to provide a large viewing capacity that does not require advanced reservations. Pavilion seating offers an excellent alternative, for a centerfield location and reserved seats to enjoy the match, with beverage service provided.
Ticket Terms & Conditions, including the Rain Policy, have been updated. Ticket Insurance for 2020 polo matches will be available at the time of checkout to receive refunds in the occurrence of a match postponement or cancellation due to weather/field conditions. Our historic 7-day advanced request for refunds remains in effect. There will be no refunds or exchanges if a match is postponed or canceled due to weather/field conditions, without ticket insurance. It will still be required to agree to these Terms & Conditions at the time of checkout.
