We are very pleased to announce the release of a 10-page feature story on theNewport International Polo Series in the current issue of Polo Internationalmagazine. The article is loaded with glossy full-page photography, including action photos from the USA vs. Australia match by professional polo photographers: Matthew Atanian, Sue Choquette, Rod Harris and Bridget Fleming.
The layout was complemented by iconic panoramic photos and descriptions of the summertime experience in Newport. The article illustrated and/or named many of our sponsors and promotional partners and landmark institutions including the Carnegie Abbey Club, the Newport mansions, especially Marble House, the Vanderbilt Residences, the America’s Cup racing fleet, Hammersmith Farm, the Schooner Madeleine, the Concours d ‘Elegance, the International Tennis Hall of Fame, a NY Yacht Club sailing regatta and the International Polo Charity Ball, all courtesy of the Preservation Society of Newport County, RI Aerials (Birds Eye View Helicopter Tours), the Newport County Visitor & Convention Bureau, Billy Black, and Newport Seen LLC.
Finally, a page full of ‘Jet Set Polo People’ pics were selected out of hundreds submitted in our first annual photo contest from our fans.
A limited number of copies of this No. 84, 2011 (English Edition) will be available upon request, and in the Pro Shop this summer, subject to availability. Now in its 21st year in print, this issue of PI leads off with coverage of the prestigious Argentine Open and traverses the globe showcasing prominent tournaments, and every issue includes many of our friends from around the world who have played in Newport!
