Dallas Fades into the Sunset

In their 3rd appearance in the City Series of the Newport International Polo Series, the Dallas team falls short, 14-8.

Newport faced off against Dallas on Saturday, July 13th in the City Series for the 3rd straight season.  Dallas took an early lead in the but faded in the second half.  Alternating in the #1 position for Dallas were Melanie Pugmire and Rebecca Barrons; Steve Gilchrist returned as the #2, team captain Wyatt Myr played #3 and David Barrons played in the #4 position.  Newport's squad inclouded Amy Rice at #1, Stephanie Still at #2, Charlie Bullis as #3 and Jim DeAngelis in the #4 position.

At the polo grounds from 1-4pm your Rhode Island BMW Centers offered test drives of their latest model BMW ultimate driving machines.

A weekly door prize drawing will award one lucky winner a 1-hour massage at Massage Envy. Judges awarded the Best Tailgate a prize of a bottle of Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte and tickets to Newport's Blues & BBQ Festival.  The match was followed by a trophy presentation with prizes given by BMW's district manager, and cocktail hour to mingle with the players.

Alex and Ani hosted the Alex and Ani (+) Energy Polo Lounge, for an all-inclusive entertainment experience.
