The countdown to the June 4th Opening Day is on. With less than two weeks to go, the teams, staff, and fans are gearing up for an action packed silver jubilee season. Fan requests, resurrection of past traditions, field-side renovations, and new introductions will mark this banner year for the Newport International Polo Series XXV.
Collector’s Edition Anniversary Magazine: An enduring reference for those who love the Polo Series and for first-time visitors, this coffee table keepsake features a quarter century of milestones with never-before published photos, commentary, and a behind the scenes look at the development of a Newport summertime tradition. Return of the Pony Parade: Polo match opening ceremonies will be highlighted by the return of the Pony Parade for the audience to see these thoroughbred athletes up close. Get to know the player’s mounts with pony bios in the season program and weekly Scorecard, and announcer’s commentary throughout the match.
All Charity Day: Sunday, July 17 at 5pm. Newport Polo’s inaugural All Charity Day to benefit civic and non-profit organizations serving our community. The match will feature a classic 6 chukker show-down between local players. 100% of ticket proceeds go directly to participants. Morocco Debut: This season, Morocco will be the 32nd nation to debut in the Polo Series on Saturday, September 17th at 4pm. Moroccan Polo got its start in the capital of Marrakesh in the early 19th century, spreading to the coast in recent years. Click Here for tickets and match details.

New Field-Side Pro Shop: The newly constructed Pro Shop opens in June for shoppers to enjoy more floor space and an additional register for faster checkout. See the 2016 official sportswear, including the limited edition anniversary collection for men and women.
Cox Dog Park & Polo Pony Swing Cage: Get a feel for the sport of polo with penalty shots from the life size wooden training horses. Plus, canine guests can run free in the newly created dog park at the polo grounds. Stay tuned for updates.

Alex and Ani Pavilion & Twisted Pony Bar: Enjoy an extended afternoon at polo. Due to overwhelming demand, the Alex and Ani Pavilion & Twisted Pony Bar will open one hour earlier, at 3pm (2pm in September). Gourmet food service will be offered by Russel Morin's Cru Cafe. And the Positive Energy Polo Lounge continues to raise the bar as the premium, all-inclusive experience.
Culinary Delights: After the enthusiastic response to the introduction of food trucks last season, we’re setting our sights on a season long lineup to satisfy your hunger. Fan favorites return, including the Gilded Tomato, Elwood’s Dog House, Presto Coffee, Hawaiian Jim’s plus the addition of Luke’s Lobster, Flat Waves and more. Look for them each week in the Hospitality Village, located behind the scoreboard.
Polo Chalets: Tailgate with panache in the newly added field-side Polo Chalets. Up close to the action, enjoy an afternoon of tailgating in these premium spaces that include an installed 10’x10’ canopy. By advanced reservation, online only.
