The Newport International Polo Series proudly presents the thrilling finale of the Governor's Cup, where the Gold and Bronze medal matches will unfold at the Newport Polo Grounds. This highly anticipated showdown will be graced by the presence of the Governor of Rhode Island, who will oversee the championship match as the best players from across the state—and beyond—compete for glory. As defending champions, Team Avery is in the spotlight once again, aiming to secure their third consecutive victory and etch their names further into the legacy of the Governor’s Cup. However, their success has put a target on their backs. With other teams hungry to claim the title, there’s no guarantee that Team Avery will even make it through the fierce preliminary competition. The stakes are high, and the Governor could end up presenting the trophy to any team that rises to the moment.
