Although our current summer Series still has 2 weeks left of high-caliber contests, we are already at work planning an exciting lineup for the 2025 season and all of the thrilling games that it will bring next summer! We invite you to join the action in the Newport International Polo Series 34th season - whether it is part of your weekly summer ritual or a singular gathering - when our annual Pre-Season Sale for Polo Parties and Season Passes begins on Tuesday, October 1.

Polo Parties: Mark a milestone celebration, treat your clients and colleagues or just gather for summer fun with family and friends. Polo Parties offer a unique group entertainment experience. The family-friendly polo matches are suitable for all ages, with seating options for a casual DIY barbecue to full-service turn-key entertaining. The thrilling 2-hour exhibitions provide an entire afternoon of fun with pre-match games, vendors and exhibits, player and pony meet and greets, opening and closing ceremonies, and autograph signings after the match. Of course, the half-time divot stomp made famous in Pretty Woman is a time-honored polo tradition and must-do feature of the day. Flexible options allow the host's choice of vendors for catering and event detailing as well as DIY entertaining.
Pre-season reservations provide party hosts with the most availability and extended timeline needed to put into motion all the details for a group event. Those considering an event at Newport Polo are encouraged to plan early as many options sell out within weeks of the Box Office public opening.
This is a limited opportunity to ensure the maximum dates and options prior to the Box Office opening in the New Year. As always, dates in the peak of July and August and those featuring perennial favorite challengers like Italy, Ireland, Jamaica, and England are the first to reach capacity. Team Building: Newport Polo's certified instructors lead groups through 2+ hour polo experiences at America's First Polo Club. Customizable programs include intro to polo, breakout sessions, and optional mounted instruction with team scrimmage for friendly competition. Previous riding experience is not required. Finish the day with trophies for the winning team and a picnic lunch in the bucolic setting. Available seasonally in Spring, Summer, and Autumn. Private Events: Create a singular experience in the pastoral setting of the International Polo Grounds and Pavilion. The day starts under a canopy of ancient lindens covering the entrance drive to the Polo Grounds with sweeping vistas of manicured fields and pastures, miles of field-stone walls, and historic stone barns. Newport Polo welcomes weddings and corporate events during its seasonal operations from mid-May to mid-October. The Pavilion tented clubhouse offers a blank canvas to detail to suit your style and needs. Furnishings are provided by Newport Polo with the flexibility for your choice of caterer and other services. The expansive grounds allow endless entertainment options from simple touches like lawn games to extravagances like helicopter or hot air balloon rides. The Newport International Polo Series 2025 season kicks off on Saturday, June 7th with the first international challenger of the season. Games will continue every Saturday through the end of September, featuring teams from around the world and major U.S. cities. You will be sure to find our fan favorites, and long-time challengers like Ireland, Jamaica, England, and Italy, along with a debut nation and other returning foes to be announced. Games begin at 5 PM / 4 PM in September and as always, will include commentary by our ever-popular announcer with live-action coverage on the Jumbotron. Games are 6-chukkers (periods of play), lasting approximately 2 hours with a traditional divot stomp at halftime. Individual ticket options include Pavilion table seating, reserved Chalet and Tailgate picnic spaces, unassigned Lawn and Grandstand seating, and on occasion, the Clicquot Terrasse. Weekly contests and prizes, opening and closing ceremonies, and opportunities to meet players and ponies provide a full afternoon of enjoyment and entertainment.
